JR is a friendly group where costume jewellery enthusiasts and makers can discuss costume jewellery designers and their work, as well as learning about historical styles and trends. It also aims to dispel the feeling that only signed pieces are important, as many influential pieces have been created unsigned although their design and craftsmanship is of a high quality.

JC Photo Album where you can see pictures of many JC (JewelCollect) members, you may also like to look at their home page on Yahoo. JC takes a more formal approach to the study of vintage costume jewellery than JR does but many people are members of both groups.
